Today the Agency completely declassified I Expect You To Die 3: Cog In The Machine, the eagerly anticipated third installment of our spy-fi VR franchise, for Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro.

SteamVR Agents will get mission clearance when the game launches for that platform on September 28, 2023.

But we hope the wait won't feel too long, as we've got some exciting IEYTD3 events and intel to share with you in the meantime! Both now and coming soon!

For our rookie agents who aren’t in the know — your missions in I Expect You To Die 3: Cog in the Machine will take you on another riveting ride through the treacherous world of espionage. You’ll travel to action-packed locations, wield complex gadgets, engage robots, and harness your telekinetic powers to solve complex puzzles, and stop the evil Dr. Zor’s plans. And don’t forget about Dr. Roxana Prism and her sidekick Robutler … we’re sure you’re up for the challenge, Agents!

Schell Games is excited to let our secret operatives know that we’ll be attending PAX West 2023 with a pop-up Agency Training booth experience! Here, fans — eh hem, Agents — will be able to meet our crew, demo the new game, update their agent codex with some cutting-edge technology, and potentially walk away with [REDACTED DUE TO HYPE LEVELS] at Booth 2039 in the Summit building from September 1 to 4.

Oh wait! — I’m getting a new classified briefing from HQ...

It seems ZC-07 Security Turret, also known as “Bear Archer”, was successfully repurposed for Agency use. The research team is quite excited to provide agents all over the globe with a mini version of ZC-07, though we aren’t quite sure if it works just yet. At least it’s cute. Make sure you’re following our regular correspondence channels for the latest operative updates.

It also seems Agent Cigar Handler is expanding research around ZC-07 via Operation Build-A-Bear. It’s unusual for agents to post their movements on YouTube of all places, but we hope he can complete the mission before his credentials are compromised. (If they aren’t already.)

Speaking of classified intel — agents should also keep their eyes peeled for special discounts on I Expect You To Die and I Expect You To Die 2 tied to both Meta Quest and SteamVR launches. What can we say, Agents — we couldn’t announce everything in this briefing. (Shawn in HR wouldn’t let us.)
