"Party Crasher"

Objective 1

Send Juniper the correct wine order

Hint 1

Retrieve wine bottle from far left back side with the label “Last One” and place in the dumb waiter to your right.

Hint 2

Retrieve the two glasses second from the top of the rack to your right (the riesling glasses) and place them in the dumb waiter as well

Solution

With all three items onboard, use the lever to raise the dumb waiter up to the 1st floor ballroom and press call button.


Objective 2

Gain access to the security system

Hint 1

Juniper will send a golden key and a red mask down the dumbwaiter after receiving the correct wine order. Socket the golden key into the cask against the wall in front of you with a keyhole in it (i.e. the fourth cask). This will cause the five taps to open

Hint 2

Follow the code to open the secret “tech wall” on a note inside the top hat
1) The five symbols represent the five giant barrels (casks)
2) Close the taps on the first, third, and fourth casks (starting from the left); this will require moving the ladder out of the way of the first

Hint 3

Wear the UV mask found in the secret tech wall, it allows you to see ultraviolet markings around the level

Hint 4

Open the escape hatch
1) Remove the two gladii (Roman short swords) that are crossed in the front of the huge cask to your left
2) While wearing the UV mask, grab the two daggers that have hand prints on them and place where the gladii had been (the daggers in question are the second-from-the-left one and the one on the far right end)
3) This will unlock the escape hatch door (the handle is on the left side of the rim), but the inside is bricked shut. You can’t to anything with this yet

Hint 5

Press the panel on the secret tech wall that has a handprint on it (only visible while wearing the UV mask)
1) Press the red button inside to reveal the map controls
2) You can now take off the UV mask

Alternate Path

Hint 1

OPTIONAL - send Juniper the Mimic Mask

Take the Mimic Mask (blank mask with tech dots, the same mask from the previous level) from the mask wall and send it to the first floor using the dumb waiter


Objective 3

Use the security system to trick Juniper into sending you the script

Hint 1

Floor 1 - Press the two mine buttons to trigger an evacuation. Juniper et al will move to the second floor

Hint 2

Floor 2
1) Use the trapped suits of armor to gas some of the guards; you must act fairly quickly
2) To release poison gas, select the room you want to activate with the dial, then pull the lever on the right side of the console. A meter on the far right indicates how much gas is left in the tank
3) Wait for the guard to enter the lower left room (the Upstairs Bar) and activate the trap in that room
4) A guard will then enter the Gymnasium in the top right; activate the trap in that room
5) Send the dumbwaiter up to the Billiards Room and ring the call button
6) When the guard has been lured into the Billiards Room and stops moving, activate the trap [note: activate too early, and he’ll see the trap and you’ll get caught]
7) Empty the rest of the poison gas into the Billiards Room so that it can’t be used against you later
8) When the third guard is defeated, Juniper will send you the nuclear briefcase using the dumbwaiter. Grab it and set it aside for later


Objective 4

Survive & Escape

Hint 1

A henchman will try to release poison gas from the suit of armor in your room, but he can’t if you emptied the tank earlier

Hint 2

The henchman will then try to shoot you through the door slot
1) Grab one of the smoke grenades from the bottom of the tech wall
2) Pull the pin and telekinesis the grenade to the door at the far side of the room, but don’t let go until the henchman targets you with his gun, then hover/freeze the grenade in place (or just drop it to the floor by the door) to set it off and foil the gunman

Hint 3

Open the door to the escape hatch to the left of the room that you unlocked earlier (the handle is on the left side of the rim)

Hint 4

When grenades are thrown your way, grab one of them and place it inside the giant cask to the left, then close the door.

Hint 5

After the bricks in the escape hatch are blown open, grab the nuclear briefcase to end the level

Alternate Path

Hint 1

Alternatively, when the henchman tries to shoot you, you can block the pistol shot using a big object such as the briefcase
