Objective 1
Expose the facade
Hint 1
Slide open the bottom drawer in the table to your right. (It will only open a small amount)
Hint 2
Take the fork or knife from the table and stick it into the drawer to slide the lock over and unlock the drawer
Hint 3
Fully open the drawer
Hint 4
Pick up the lighter in the drawer, press the ‘use’ button to open the lighter and produce a flame
Hint 5
TK the lighter over to the large logo hanging off of the wall to light it on fire
Hint 6
As the logo — and, more importantly, the wall behind it — burns, the room will open up to a larger space, and an emitter will descend from the ceiling to trap you in a ring of deadly lasers
Alternate Path
Hint 1
Alternatively, instead of using the lighter, shoving the knife or fork into the light socket against the left wall will start a small fire that can be use to ignite flammable interactables, which can then be pressed against the logo on the wall
Objective 2
Redirect the motion-tracking missiles
Hint 1
Grab the clapboard from the director’s chair in the back right (just passed the camera crane) and clap it to end Juniper’s monologue early; he will then activate the missile launcher and death laser
Hint 2
The missile launcher tracks movement. After it finishes its warning shot against the fallen sand bag, telekinesis the clapboard to the right side of the camera with the death ray attachment (so that the camera is in between the missile launcher and the clapboard).
The missile will fly towards the clapboard and hit the camera instead, destroying it.
Hint 3
TK the clapboard (or another expendable object, if the clapboard is lost) up next to the missile launcher itself
Hint 4
The launcher will fire at the TKed object and destroy itself
Hint 5
Retrieve the battery from the wreckage of the missile launcher (it will settle on the floor near the center of the warehouse)
Hint 6
Retrieve the laser emitter from the wreckage of the camera death ray (it will have bounced up into the exam room, where it can be found on the floor to your left)
Alternate Path
Hint 1
Alternatively, the missile launcher itself can be destroyed first, and the camera can then be disassembled by putting together the power tool from the desk drawer with the bolt driver attachment (also in the desk drawer), slotting the battery from the missile launcher into it, and then removing the bolt from the joint in the arm that the camera is attached to
Objective 3
Disable the laser cage
Hint 1
The goal is to focus a laser beam on the sensitive back of the laser cage emitter
Hint 2
Find a power tool in the bottom drawer of the cabinet next to you (where the lighter was)
Hint 3
Socket the battery into the bottom of the power tool and the laser emitter to the front of it to produce a laser gun of your own
Be careful: do NOT aim the laser gun at the boxes and barrels of explosives scattered around the scene
Hint 4
Aim the laser gun at the mirror in the trailer on the left side of the room; it will bounce across the level to the standing mirror on the right side
Hint 5
You can tilt the standing mirror more upright to redirect the laser back to the flag that forms the backdrop of the press conference set
Hint 6
Use the arrow buttons on the pedestal near the center of the level to rotate the flag in the back of the press conference set. The Zoraxis logo that is eventually revealed is reflective.
Hint 7
Tweak the position of the standing mirror or the laser gun itself until the beam reflects off the Zoraxis flag into the back of the laser cage device. The device will fry after a second or two of sustained laser impact
Objective 4
Escape
Hint 1
Destroying the laser cage emitter ends the signal jamming and allows the real handler to contact you. He asks for a sign to indicate your location
Solution
Aim the laser gun out the window in the top-left of the scene to light up the water tower outside and let the handler know where you are and end the mission (there might be trunk and/or tripod in the way of the window: a sustained blast of laser fire will destroy them and clear a path)
